Gümüşlük'de denize ulaşan dereye dışkı içeren atıkların karıştığı iddiasıyla web sitemize gönderilen videodan yola çıkılarak yapılan haberler üzerine Uluslararası Gümüşlük Müzik Festivali sosyal medya hesaplarından bir kamuoyu açıklaması yayınladı.

Ne olmuştu ve yanıtımız

Sayın Levendoğlu'na;

Açıklamada, "basın yayın ahlakı gereği" ifadesi kullanıldığı ve haberi yayınlayan tek yayın organı olduğumuz için yanıt vermek zaruri olmuştur. 40 yıllık meslek hayatımı pek çok ödülle taçlandırırken "basın yayın ahlakı" konusundaki duyarlılığımız, ilkelerimiz, tarafsızlığımız nedeniyle nice bedeller ödemek zorunda kalsak da kimsenin adamı olmadan, üyesi olduğum meslek örgütleri dahil hiç bir yapıya sığınmadan, yararlanmadan, çıkar sağlamadan, nemalanmadan yürümenin de haklı gururunu taşıyorum.

Yeri gelmişken, Bodrum Belediye Başkanı Sayın Ahmet Aras'a önceki gün ödül veren Çağdaş Gazeteciler Derneği'nin genel merkezi tarafından bana layık görülen, "Haber Araştırma Dalı Yılın Gazetecisi" ödülümü de diğer "Gazetecilik Başarı Ödüllerimin" yanında gururla sergiliyorum.

Yanıt hakkına gelince;

Uluslararası Gümüşlük Müzik Festivali Genel Koordinatörü sayın Eren Levendoğlu insan sağlığı açısından çok ağır ifadeler içeren ilk videodan yola çıkarak yapılan haberin yayınının ardından bizi arayarak davet etti. Yanıt hakkıını almak üzere ofisine gittik. Ancak kendi organizasyonlarının adının da yer aldığı videoyu çeken ve bize gönderen CHP Gümüşlük Mahalle Temsilcisi Kemal Gökal'le görüştüklerini, yanıt hakkını kullanmak istemediğini, bir basın açıklaması yayınlayacaklarını belirtti.

Sözün öziü;

Bizce de çok önemli uluslararası bir etkinliğe imza atan organizasyonun adının böylesi iddialar içeren bir videoyla anılması bizleri de üzdü ve hayrete düşürdü. Ancak iddialar sahibine aittir.

Sayın Gökal'a;

CHP Gümüşlük Mahalle Temsilcisi Sayın Kemal Gökal insan sağlığı ve videoda adı geçen kurumlar açısından çok önemli iddialar içeren bir video çekti ve yayınlamamız için bize gönderdi. Sayın Gökal bir gün sonra aynı yerde bu kez tam tersi içerikte bir video daha çekip, suyu eline aldığını, kokladığını, fosseptik kokmadığını, suyun temiz gözüktüğünü ifade etti. Onu da yayınlamamız için bize gönderdi. Her iki videoyu da yayınladık. Sayın Gökal gelişmeler üzerine bir açıklama yaparsa onu da yayınlarız.

Sonuç;

Eğer Gümüşlük Koyu'nun deniz suyu temizse bundan hepimiz mutlu oluruz. Eğer denize akan dereye insan dışkısı içeren atık ya da başka kirli maddeler karışmıyorsa bundan hepimiz mutlu oluruz. Tüm kurum, kuruluş ve kişileri de "şeffaf" olmaya davet ediyoruz. Söz konusu olan canlıların sağlığı. Haber yaptık, yapacağız, yapmayı da sürdüreceğiz.

Gümüşlük Koyu deniz suyu analizleriyle birlikte dereden alınan numune analiz sonuçlarını ve MUSKİ'nin "vidanjörler kaçak döküm yapıyor" iddiasının doğru olup olmadığı yönündeki açıklamalarını da merakla bekliyoruz. Haber yaparak kamuoyunu aydınlatmak istiyoruz...

While crowning my 40 years of professional life with many awards, I also feel the justified pride of walking without taking shelter, benefiting, benefiting, or profiting from any structure except the professional organizations I am a member of, even though we have to pay a great price due to our sensitivity, principles and impartiality regarding "media ethics". I am carrying.

By the way, I am proudly displaying my "News Research Journalist of the Year" award, which was awarded to me by the headquarters of the Contemporary Journalists Association, which awarded the Bodrum Mayor, Mr. Ahmet Aras, the previous day, alongside my other "Journalism Achievement Awards".

However, he stated that they met with CHP Gümüşlük Neighborhood Representative Kemal Gökal, who shot the video with the name of their organization and sent it to us, that he did not want to use his right to reply, and that they would issue a press release.

We were also saddened and stunned when the name of the organization, which undertook a very important international event, was mentioned with a video containing such allegations. However, the claims belong to the owner.

CHP Gümüşlük Neighborhood Representative Mr. Kemal Gökal shot a video containing very important claims in terms of human health and the institutions mentioned in the video and sent it to us for publication. Mr. Gökal shot another video in the same place, this time with the opposite content, and stated that the water looked clean. He sent it to us for publication as well. We posted both videos.
