Şehirlerarası otobüsle çuvallar dolusu eti Muğla'ya getirdiler. Etler piyasaya sürülemeden zabıta tarafından yakalandı.

Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi zabıta ekipleri Menteşe Şehirlerarası Otobüs Terminali'nde bir seyahat firmasına ait otobüsten indirilen çuvallardan şüphelenerek inceleme yaptı. Denetim ve kontrollerde 19 çuval içinde 696 kilogram sağlıksız et ele geçirildi.

Zabıta ekipleri, etlerin insan tüketimine uygun olup olmadığının tespiti amacıyla Menteşe İlçe Tarım ve Orman Müdürlüğüne bilgi verdi. Menteşe İlçe Tarım ve Orman Müdürlüğü'nde görevli veteriner hekimlerce yapılan kontrollerde 19 çuval içerisinde bulunan 696 kilo etin taşıma kurallarına uyulmadığı ve menşeinin belli olmaması nedeniyle Veteriner Hizmetleri, Bitki Sağlığı, Gıda ve Yem Kanunu çerçevesinde insan tüketimine uygun olmadığı tespit edildi.

Yapılan kontrollerin ardından 696 kilogram sağlıksız etin Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi Menteşe Düzenli Katı Atık Depolama Tesisine nakli sağlanarak imha edildi.

They brought sacks of meat to Muğla by intercity bus. The meat was caught by the police before it could be released.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality police teams made an investigation, suspecting that the sacks were unloaded from a bus belonging to a travel company at the Menteşe Intercity Bus Terminal. During inspections and controls, 696 kilograms of unhealthy meat were seized in 19 sacks.

Police teams informed the Menteşe District Agriculture and Forestry Directorate in order to determine whether the meat is suitable for human consumption. In the controls carried out by the veterinarians working in the Menteşe District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, it was determined that 696 kilograms of meat in 19 sacks did not comply with the transportation rules and that it was not suitable for human consumption within the framework of the Veterinary Services, Plant Health, Food and Feed Law, since its origin was not known.

After the controls, 696 kilograms of unhealthy meat was transported to Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Menteşe Regular Solid Waste Storage Facility and destroyed.
