Haftalardır su akmayan Turgutreis ve Gümüşlükte artık sabırlar da, cüzdanlar da tamamen tükenmişken önceki gün Yalıkavak'ta 5 ayrı noktadan patlayan ana isale hattı nedeniyle tonlarca su yollardan akıp gitmişti. Bu kez Turgutreis - Gümüşlük yolundaki 400'lük CTP Ana isale hattında patlama oldu.

Gümüşlük yolundaki 400'lük CTP Ana isale hattında patlama nedeniyle Turgutreis Sanayi Sitesi girişinde patlamanın olduğu noktada asfalt da yarılarak parçalandı.
Tonlarca su caddelerden aktı. DSİ ana isale hattında gerçekleştiği iddia edilen 400'lük CTP Ana isale hatı borusudaki patlağı onarmak için Muğla Su ve Kanalizasyon İdaresi (MUSKİ) ekipleri bölgeye sevk edildi.
Patlama sebebiyle zaten haftalardır su alamayan Turgutreis, Koyunbaba, Gümüşlük hattında zorunlu su kesintileri olacağı öğrenildi.
