Bodrum Belediyesi tarafından bu sene 8.si gerçekleştirilen Deniz Dibi Temizliği etkinliği Turgutreis’te gerçekleştirildi. "Denize En Çok Mavi Yakışır" sloganıyla gerçekleştirilen etkinliğe, Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürlüğü, belediye dalış takımı, Mis Gibi 1 Bodrum ekibi ve Zeyyat Mandalinci İlkokulu’ndan 60 öğrenci ve öğretmenleri katıldı.
Dalgıçların deniz dibinde yaptığı temizliğe öğrenciler de sahildeki çöpleri toplayarak destek verdi. Gönüllü dalgıçlardan oluşan ekip, 2 saatlik çalışma sonrasında 40 kg tekstil malzemesi, 85 kg lastik, 3 kg metal, 35 kg muhtelif çöp, 4 kg plastik, 25 kg cam malzeme olmak üzere toplamda 192 kg atık malzeme topladı. Temizlik çalışmalarına Turgutreis D-Marine de destek verdi.
Çalışma sonunda toplanan atıklar, Konacık Mahallesi’nde bulunan Bodrum Belediyesi 1.Sınıf Atık Getirme Merkezi’ne nakledildi.

What came out of the sea in Turgutreis?
In the "Blue Suits the Sea Best" event, 192 kilos of waste was removed from the sea in Turgutreis. You will probably be very surprised when you see what comes out.
The 8th Seabed Cleaning event, organized by Bodrum Municipality this year, was held in Turgutreis. The event, which was held with the slogan of "Blue Suits the Sea Most", was attended by Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Services Directorate, municipality diving team, 1 Bodrum team, and 60 students and teachers from Zeyyat Mandalinci Primary School.

Students also supported the cleaning done by the divers at the bottom of the sea by collecting the garbage on the beach. After 2 hours of work, the team of volunteer divers collected a total of 192 kg of waste material, including 40 kg of textile materials, 85 kg of tires, 3 kg of metal, 35 kg of miscellaneous garbage, 4 kg of plastic, 25 kg of glass. Turgutreis D-Marine also supported the cleaning works.
At the end of the study, the collected wastes were transferred to the Bodrum Municipality 1st Class Waste Retrieval Center located in Konacık Neighborhood.
