“Denize En Çok Mavi Yakışır” sloganıyla düzenlenen ve bu yıl Türkbükü Koyundan başlatılan Bodrum Belediyesi Deniz Dibi Temizliği Etkinliği Gümbet Koyunda devam etti.

Etkinliğe, Hüseyin Boyacı İlkokulu ve Muğla-Bodrum Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi öğrencileri, öğretmenlerinin eşliğinde kıyı temizliği yaparak destek verdi. Gümbet Mahalle Muhtarı Ali Haydar Mahsur da etkinliği takip edenler arasındaydı.

Bodrum Belediyesi Dalış Ekibi, sekiz yıldır Bodrum Yarımadasının koy ve sahillerini temizleyerek yaz sezonu öncesinde hazırlıklara destek olmaya devam ediyor.

Her hafta farklı bir koyda gerçekleştirilen çalışmada belediye dalış ekibi bu hafta Gümbet koyunu temizledi. Gümbet Plajı ve Bodrum Belediye AŞ Gümbet Cafe önünde iki saat boyunca dalış yapan ekip deniz dibinde birikmiş atıkları topladı.

Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürü Engin Doğan, "Denize En Çok Mavi Yakışır" sloganıyla 8. yılına giren etkinlikte, geçen sene Gümbet temizliğinde gönüllü dalgıç ekibiyle 634 kilogram atık çıkartıldığını belirterek; şimdi ise aşırı yağışlardan dolayı sokaklara gelişi güzel atılan atıkların fazlalığından, bu yıl daha fazla miktar atık çıkabileceğini söyledi.

Yaklaşık 1 ton atığın çıkarıldığı etkinlikte plastik, cam, metal hatta alışveriş arabası çıkartıldı. Bölgede hazır bekleyen Bodrum Belediyesi Temizlik İşleri Müdürlüğü ekipleri de kıyıya çıkardıkları atıkları yerinde ölçüp ayrıştırarak geri dönüşüm için Bodrum Belediyesi 1. Sınıf Atık Getirme Merkezi’ne nakletti. “Denize En Çok Mavi Yakışır” etkinliğinin Gümbet’ten sonraki durağı Müskebi olacak.

Bodrum Municipality Seabed Cleaning Event, which was organized with the slogan "Blue Suits the Sea Most" and started from Türkbükü Bay this year, continued in Gumbet Bay.

Hüseyin Boyacı Primary School and Muğla-Bodrum Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School students supported the event by cleaning the coast in the company of their teachers. Gumbet Neighborhood Headman Ali Haydar Mahsur was among those who followed the event.

Bodrum Municipality Diving Team continues to support the preparations before the summer season by cleaning the bays and beaches of the Bodrum Peninsula for eight years.

In the work carried out in a different bay every week, the municipality diving team cleaned the Gumbet bay this week. The team, which dived for two hours in front of Gumbet Beach and Bodrum Belediye AŞ Gumbet Cafe, collected the wastes accumulated on the seabed.

Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Affairs Manager Engin Doğan stated that 634 kilograms of waste was removed with the volunteer diver team during the cleaning of Gumbet last year, at the event, which entered its 8th year with the slogan "Blue Suits the Sea Most"; He said that now, due to excessive rains, more waste may come out this year due to the excess of waste thrown on the streets randomly.

In the event, about 1 ton of waste was removed, plastic, glass, metal and even shopping carts were removed. Bodrum Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams, which are ready in the region, measured and sorted the waste they took to the shore on site and transported them to the Bodrum Municipality 1st Class Waste Retrieval Center for recycling. The next stop of the “Blue Suits the Sea Best” event will be Müskebi.
