Gümüşlük Haber Ajansı (GHA) - 25.12.2021 - Bodrumlu öğrenciler 18. Uluslararası İstanbul Gastronomi Festivali'nde 3 altın madalya kazandı.
Bodrum Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi Özel Eğitim Sınıfı öğrencileri, Yiyecek İçecek Hizmetleri Alan Şefi Serkan Olcaycan liderliğinde bir ilke daha imza attı.
Geçtiğimiz yıl başlattıkları eTwinning projeleri ile seslerini ülke genelinde duyurmayı başaran “Özel Eller” ekibi bu sefer uluslararası bir platformda sahneye çıkarak yeni bir başarıya imza attı.
Dünyanın gastronomi alanında önde gelen ülkelerinin federasyonları ve derneklerinin katılım sağladığı, Türkiye’nin en büyük gastronomi yarışması olan ve bu yıl 18. Uluslararası İstanbul Gastronomi Festivali'nde (18 th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival) genç aşçılar ile birlikte 3 kategoride yarışan “Özel Eller” ekibi kazandığı 3 altın madalya ile herkesin gururu oldu.
Okullarında çalışabilecekleri bir mutfakları olmayan özel eğitim öğrencilerine Bodrum'da iki şubesi olan Chınese Inn Restaurant kapılarını açtı.
Tüm provalarını burada yapan "Özel Eller" ekibi yarışmaya da Çin mutfağı lezzetleri ile katıldı. Öğrenciler için çok yorucu ama keyifli bir süreç yaşadıklarını ifade eden "Özel Eller" öğretmeni Serkan Olcaycan, "geldiğimiz noktada çocuklarımın gözündeki mutluluk herşeye değer" dedi.
Bodrum İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürü Halil İbrahim Akmeşe öğretmen ve öğrencileri tebrik ederek, başarılarının devamını diledi ve eğitimcilerle öğrencilerin her zaman yanlarında olacaklarını belirtti.

Great success of Bodrum students
Students from Bodrum won 3 gold medals at the 18th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival.
Bodrum Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School Special Education Class students broke new ground under the leadership of Food and Beverage Services Area Chief Serkan Olcaycan.
The “Special Hands” team, which managed to make their voices heard throughout the country with the eTwinning projects they started last year, achieved a new success by taking the stage on an international platform this time.
“Special Hands”, which is the biggest gastronomy competition in Turkey, to which the federations and associations of the world's leading countries in the field of gastronomy participate and this year, competed with young chefs in 3 categories at the 18th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival (18 th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival). The team became the pride of everyone with the 3 gold medals they won.
Great success of Bodrum students
Chinese Inn Restaurant, which has two branches in Bodrum, opened its doors to special education students who do not have a kitchen where they can work in their schools.
The "Special Hands" team, who did all their rehearsals here, also participated in the competition with Chinese cuisine delicacies. "Special Hands" teacher Serkan Olcaycan, who stated that they had a very tiring but enjoyable process for the students, said, "The happiness in my children's eyes is worth everything at this point."
Bodrum District Director of National Education Halil İbrahim Akmeşe congratulated the teachers and students and wished them continued success and stated that they would always be by their side.
