Turgutreis'te pazar yeri üst bölgesindeki otluk ve makilik alanda yangın başladı. Yangına havadani karadan müdahale sürüyor.

Havaların ısınmasıyla birlite makilik, otluk ve ormanlık alanlarda yangın riski de arttı. Bodrum’un Turgutreis Mahallesi Servis Caddesi 7050 Sokak (Sağlık Ocağı ile pazar yerinin üst kısmları) üzerindeki otluk alanda henüz bilinmeyen bir nedenle yangın başladı.

Alevleri gören mahalle sakinlerinin ilk müdahaleyi yaptıkları yangın 112 Acil çağrı Merkezi'ne de bildirildi. İhbar üzerine bölgeye Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi İtfaiye Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Bodrum Grup Amirliği itfaiye ekipleri sevk edildi. Kuvvetli rüzgarla hızla yayılan alevler yerleşim yerlerine yaklaşınca havadan da 1 helikopter takviyesiyle alevlerle mücadele başlatıldı.

Muğla Büyükşehir Belediyesi İtfaiye Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı Bodrum Grup Amirliği itfaiye ekiplerinin hızlı müdahalesi ve helikopterin Gümüşlük sahilinden taşıdığı deniz suyuyla havadan ve karadan yoğun baskı uygulandı. Yaklaşık bir saatlik bir çabayla alevler sdödürüldü ve haberimiz güncellenirken (14:02 7.6.2026) soğutma çalışmaları da başlatıldı.

Grassland and maquis fire in Turgutreis

A fire started in the grassland and maquis area above the market place in Turgutreis. Air and ground firefighting efforts continue.

With the warming weather, the risk of fires has also increased in maquis, grassland, and forest areas. January Sunday, the fire started for an unknown reason in the grass area on the Turgutreis Neighborhood of Bodrum, Service Street, 7050 Street (upper parts of the Health Center and market place).

The fire, which was first reported by neighborhood residents who saw the flames, was also reported to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon receiving the report, fire crews from the Bodrum Group Command of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department were dispatched to the area. As the flames, which spread rapidly due to strong winds, approached residential areas, firefighting efforts were initiated with the addition of one helicopter from the air.

Intense pressure was applied from the air and land with the rapid intervention of the fire crews of the Bodrum Group Supervisor affiliated to the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department and the sea water carried by the helicopter from the Gumusluk coast.

After approximately one hour of effort, the flames were extinguished, and while our report was being updated (14:02 7.6.2026), cooling efforts were also initiated.
