Muğla Çevre Platformu (MUÇEP), Bodrum Meclisi Gönüllüleri ve Bodrum Emek ve Demokrasi Güçleri, "Kente karşı işlenen suçları teşhir ediyoruz" başlığıyla 12 Nisan 2026 Pazar günü İçmeler bölgesinden başlayacak bir yürüyüş düzenleyecek. "Kente karşı işlenen suçları teşhir etmek" amacıyla yapılacak yürüyüşle ilgili MUÇEP'in açıklaması ve çağrı metni aşağıda;

Masadaki rant kararlarına karşı, Bodrum’un ve çocuklarımızın geleceği için, turizm adı altında yıkıma teslim edilen yerlere, suç mahallerine yürüyoruz.

SUÇLAR NEDİR:

Hukuksuz imar projeleri, kıyıların halka kapatılması, kamusal alanların işgali, sermayeye peşkeş çekilmek için turizm tahsis alanları yaratılması, masalarda alınan rant kararları, ormanların yok edilmesi, derelerin kurutulması, dağların, tepelerin parçalanarak betonlaşması, deniz çayırları başta olmak üzere deniz ekosisteminin bozulması; su, elektrik, altyapı için başka ekosistemlerin yok edilmesi (taş ocakları, beton santralleri, barajlar yapılması), pınar, ardıç, sakız, keçiboynuzu gibi binbir çeşit bitkinin yaşam alanlarının yok edilmesi,

YÜRÜYORUZ, ÇÜNKÜ

Suyu, toprağı, havayı kirleten, geleceği karartan betondan, taştan, mermerden beslenen rantçılara karşıyız. “Doğadan–doğrudan yanayız” demek için ses veriyoruz. Kente karşı işlenen suçları teşhir etmek için Bodrum halkıyla birlikte yürüyoruz. Sokağın sesini, doğanın sesi ile buluşturacağız.

The Muğla Environmental Platform (MUÇEP), Bodrum Assembly Volunteers, and Bodrum Labor and Democracy Forces will organize a march starting from the İçmeler region on Sunday, April 12, 2026, under the title "We are exposing crimes committed against the city." The statement and call to action from MUÇEP regarding the march, which aims to "expose crimes committed against the city," is below;

“MUÇEP AND LABOR DEMOCRACY FORCES ARE MARCHING TOGETHER!!!

Against the rent-seeking decisions made at the table, for the future of Bodrum and our children, we are marching to the crime scenes, to the places surrendered to destruction under the name of tourism.

WHY ARE WE MARCHING?

To expose the crimes committed against the city.

WHAT ARE THE CRIMES:

Illegal zoning projects, closing the coasts to the public, occupation of public spaces, creation of tourism allocation areas to be handed over to capital, rent-seeking decisions made at the table, destruction of forests, drying up of streams, fragmentation and concretization of mountains and hills, disruption of the marine ecosystem, especially seagrass meadows; destruction of other ecosystems for water, electricity, and infrastructure (construction of quarries, concrete plants, dams), destruction of the habitats of countless plants such as springs, junipers, mastic, and carob.” We are marching because:

We are against the profiteers who feed on concrete, stone, and marble, polluting the water, soil, and air, and darkening the future. We are raising our voices to say, "We are on the side of nature and truth." We are marching with the people of Bodrum to expose the crimes committed against the city. We will unite the voice of the street with the voice of nature.

And we say:

How much more concrete! Rise up, Bodrum, before it's too late! Now or never, there is no salvation alone, either all together or none of us!
