“We have heard many times before, from the Mayor of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, Osman Geğin, that we cannot get what we pay for the tax we pay as Muğla. Osman Gurun and the understanding that governs the Metropolitan Municipality have made it a habit to resort to this lie whenever their inadequacies and incompetence in the administration come to light.

As a matter of fact, the CHP Metropolitan Municipality, which has recently tried to cover up its failures, has taken refuge in the lie that our central government has made 384 million investments, claiming that Muğla has not received the return of the taxes it has paid.

I invite Osman Gürün, who tries to find excuses for his incompetence and tries to mislead the public, by expressing only some of the data of the General Directorate of Public Accounts, to correct his mistake.

The amount of expenditure made in the province of Muğla in 2021 is 6 Billion 75 Million 675 Thousand TL. This amount; In addition to investment expenditures, it consists of education expenditures, health expenditures, social aids, purchases of goods and services, wage expenditures of public duties serving Muğla and other expenditures.

Osman Gurun, who says that Muğla does not get its share from the taxes as it deserves, first of all needs to question himself and his understanding of management. Those who, as the Metropolitan Municipality, cannot provide the service they deserve to Muğla, should not look for the wrong thing elsewhere. It cannot manage the resources of the wrong Metropolitan Municipality correctly. What is wrong is to recruit all those surplus personnel to their cadres, based on purely political concerns, regardless of their merits.

It is wrong, not being able to take care of the nation's trust, is to turn our beautiful country into a sea of ​​garbage and mud. We believe that first 2023 and then 2024 will be brighter for our Muğla.”
