Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi (CHP) Bodrum İlçe Başkanlığı, AK Parti'ye katılan Asuman Gülsoy’a, "oylar CHP'ye verildi. Belediye meclisi üyeliğinden istifa et" çağrısı yaptı. CHP Bodrum İlçe Başkanı Ayşe Nurhan Fıratlı ve yönetim kurulu üyelerince yapılan kamuoyu açıklamasında aşağıdaki görüşlere yer verildi;

Asuman Gülsoy, AK Parti Bodrum Belediye Meclisi üyesi

"2024 yerel seçimlerinde Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi listesinden Bodrum Belediye Meclis Üyesi seçilen Asuman Gülsoy’un CHP’den istifa ederek AK Parti’ye katılması, seçmen iradesi ve siyasi etik açısından kabul edilemezdir'"

"Asuman Gülsoy, kişisel oyuyla değil; CHP’nin kurumsal kimliği, programı ve CHP’ye oy veren Bodrum halkının desteğiyle seçilmiştir. Bu nedenle CHP’den ayrılarak meclis üyeliğini sürdürmesi, yalnızca kişisel bir tercih olarak değerlendirilemez."

"Bodrum halkının verdiği siyasi yetki kişisel kariyer planlarına veya siyasi pazarlıklara konu edilemez. Geçmişte ağır biçimde eleştirdiği AK Parti’ye katılması da kamuoyunun yanıt beklediği ciddi bir siyasi tutarsızlıktır."

İlçe başkanı çağrı yaptı

CHP Bodrum İlçe Başkanı Nurhan Fıratlı da CHP’den istifa ederek AK Parti’ye geçen Bodrum Belediye Meclisi Üyesi Asuman Gülsoy’u meclis üyeliğinden de istifa etmeye davet etti. Fıratlı şunları söyledi

"Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi 103 yıllık bir çınardır, yaşananlar sadece kayadan toz alır ama tarihe not düşmeden de olmaz.

-Partimizden istifa ederek AK Parti’ye katılan Meclis üyesi Asuman Gülsoy; Bodrumluların tertemiz oylarıyla elde ettiği meclis üyeliği koltuğunu da alıp bir başka partiye gitti.

-Siyasi tercihinizi değiştirebilirsiniz ancak halkın oylarını yanınızda götüremezsiniz.

- Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi’nin gündeme getirdiği ve çıkarılmasında ısrarcı olduğu Siyasi Ahlak Yasası tam da bu ve benzeri parti değiştirme olaylarının sona ermesi, siyasi ahlakın siyasete nüfuz etmesi için gereklidir.

-Son dönemde artan bu parti değiştirmeler, yasanın bir an önce TBMM’den geçirilmesinin zorunluluğunu açıkça ortaya koymaktadır.

-Bu kapsamda Bodrum Belediye Meclisi Üyesi Sayın Asuman Gülsoy’a sesleniyorum;

'Sizi Bodrum Belediye Meclisi üyesi yapan, Bodrumluların Meclis’te Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi’nin temsili için verdiği oylardır. Ama siz başka partiye geçtiniz. Sizi CHP’den olduğu gibi Bodrum Belediye Meclisi üyeliğinden de istifaya davet ediyorum. Meclis’teki koltuğunuzu, o yeri hak eden CHP’li yedek üyeye bırakın. Çünkü siyasi ahlak bunu gerektirir'."

CHP Bodrum: "Resign from your council membership..."

The Republican People's Party (CHP) Bodrum District Presidency has called on Asuman Gülsoy, who joined the AK Party, to "resign from her position as a municipal council member."

The CHP Bodrum District Presidency, in a public statement made by CHP Bodrum District President Ayşe Nurhan Fıratlı and board members, included the following views:

"
The CHP Bodrum District Administration called on Asuman Gülsoy to resign from her council membership. The statement from CHP Bodrum reads, 'The resignation of Asuman Gülsoy, who was elected as a Bodrum Municipal Council Member on the Republican People's Party list in the 2024 local elections, and her joining the AK Party is unacceptable in terms of voter will and political ethics.'"

"Asuman Gülsoy was elected not by her personal vote, but by the institutional identity and program of the CHP, and with the support of the people of Bodrum who voted for the CHP. Therefore, her decision to leave the CHP and continue her membership in the council cannot be considered merely a personal choice."

"The political mandate given by the people of Bodrum cannot be subject to personal career plans or political bargaining. Her joining the AK Party, which she heavily criticized in the past, is also a serious political inconsistency for which the public demands an answer."

The district chairman also made a call

CHP Bodrum District Chairman Nurhan Fıratlı also called on Bodrum Municipality Council Member Asuman Gülsoy, who resigned from the CHP and joined the AK Party, to also resign from her council membership. Fıratlı stated the following:

"The Republican People's Party (CHP) is a 103-year-old venerable institution; what has happened only takes dust from the rock, but it's impossible not to record it in history.

-Asuman Gülsoy, a member of the Municipal Council who resigned from our party and joined the AK Party, took her council seat, which she obtained with the clean votes of the people of Bodrum, and went to another party.

-You can change your political preference, but you cannot take the people's votes with you.

-The Political Ethics Law, which the Republican People's Party has brought to the agenda and insists on enacting, is necessary precisely to end these and similar party-changing incidents and to ensure that political ethics permeates politics.

-These party changes, which have increased recently, clearly demonstrate the necessity of passing the law through the Grand National Assembly of Turkey as soon as possible.

-In this context, I am addressing Ms. Asuman Gülsoy, a member of the Bodrum Municipal Council:

'You were elected as a member of the Bodrum Municipal Council by the votes of the people of Bodrum for the representation of the Republican People's Party in the Council. But you switched to another party. We are removing you from the CHP...'" I invite you to resign from your position as a member of the Bodrum Municipal Council. Leave your seat on the council to the CHP's reserve member who deserves it. Because political ethics demand it."
